Specialists of the Accounting Chamber received certificates of training in the field of public procurement from Transparency International Ukraine.

As a result of the training conducted by Transparency International Ukraine, 11 specialists of the Accounting Chamber confirmed their skills in using licenses to access the closed professional module of ProBI analytics. This will allow to more quickly analyze the public procurement of the Prozorro system.

According to the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Valeriy Patskan, the Accounting Chamber actively implements the latest practices and uses the world experience in the field of public procurement in combination with modern information technologies.

He noted that the audit of public procurement is conducted by the Accounting Chamber for all stages of procurement and includes verification and analysis of their legality and effectiveness, compliance with procedures, assessment of timeliness of receipt of goods, services and works, as well as analysis of transparency and adherence to established principles. The ProBI analytics module will provide an opportunity to conduct financial and performance audits of online public procurement, which is especially important during the COVID-19.

The Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Valeriy Patskan thanked the representatives of Transparency International Ukraine for the training. He noted that the use of this module will make the audits of the Accounting Chamber even better. “We hope that other employees, including specialists from territorial offices, will receive such training in the future. This will increase the effectiveness of audits in terms of public procurement”, Valeriy Patskan said.

In turn, the Member of the Accounting Chamber Vasyl Nevidomyi noted that the analytical module is currently used by the auditors of the Accounting Chamber during the audit at the National Cancer Institute.

The Secretary of the Accounting Chamber – Chief of Staff Vadym Khodakovskyi also took part in the event.
