Guarantee of transparency and high quality of financial statements: auditors of the Accounting Chamber received international IPSAS certificates

More than 30 auditors of the Accounting Chamber received international certificates on public sector accounting standards – British Business Education Programs Continuing Professional Development Certificate CPD «International Public Sector Accounting Standards» (IPSAS) from the Institute of Certified Financial Managers of the United Kingdom (ICFM).

To receive the certificates, the auditors underwent a special advanced training course under the program «International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)» and successfully passed the final tests.

On February 19, during the certificate presentation ceremony, the director of the Institute of Certified Financial Managers of the United Kingdom in Ukraine, Olena Khorikova, thanked the auditors for their professionalism and noted the results of their training as one of the best.

The improvement of qualifications and certification of auditors in this area are extremely important for the Accounting Chamber, in particular in the context of the planned increase in the number of financial audits in its work. For example, in 2024, the Accounting Chamber conducted five financial audits, while 18 are planned for 2025. A more thorough understanding of international accounting standards will allow auditors to better analyze financial statements and ensure their compliance with global best practices.
