The National Nature Park «Holosiivskyi», in implementation of the recommendations of the Accounting Chamber, provided following the results of the financial audit for 2024, has improved its financial reporting and asset accounting.
As a reminder, the audit covered UAH 13.5 million. In total, errors of almost UAH 2.7 million were found. In particular, the auditors found that the National Nature Park «Holosiivskyi» did not carry out accounting, inventory and valuation of perennial plantings on its nine plots with a total area of 1,700 hectares. This led to an underestimation of the total book value of fixed assets owned by the park.
At the same time, the Accounting Chamber revealed an overestimation of expenses for exchange transactions in the amount of UAH 1.1 million and an underestimation of expenses for non-exchange transactions in the amount of UAH 1.24 million due to incorrect reflection of land tax payments and failure to reflect court fees in the Cash Flow Statement
To eliminate the shortcomings identified by the audit, the Accounting Chamber provided seven recommendations, four of which - directly to the park and three - to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
For their implementation, the NPP "Holosiivskyi" adjusted the amounts for exchange and non-exchange transactions, which it reflected in the financial statements for the first half of 2025. And also wrote off intangible assets in the amount of UAH 141.4 thousand.
To implement the recommendation to conduct a forest inventory, the NPP "Holosiivskyi" is waiting for clarifications, methodological recommendations and methodology from the Ministry of Environment.
The Accounting Chamber continues to monitor and analyze the status of implementation of the provided recommendations and will inform the public about its results.
