The Accounting Chamber has begun a financial audit of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine

In accordance with the work plan of the Accounting Chamber, a financial audit of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has been launched.

During the audit, the Accounting Chamber's specialists will:

- assess the state of presentation and disclosure of information in the Ministry's financial and budget reporting and provide an overall assessment of this reporting;

- conduct audit procedures to provide assurance regarding each class of business transactions, account balances, and disclosure of this information in financial and budget reporting;

- assess the state of the Ministry's internal control system in terms of preparing financial and budget reporting and responding to risks.

Attention will also be paid to the use of funds by lower-level managers and recipients of budget funds financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Responsible for the audit – member of the Accounting Chamber Yelizaveta Pushko-Tsybulyak.

The implementation of the control measure will involve specialists from the Department of Control (Audit) in the field of culture, scientific activity, spiritual and physical development, as well as territorial departments of the Accounting Chamber.

The consideration of the report based on the audit results is scheduled for October 2025.

The results of this audit will contribute to increasing the transparency of the institution's use of state budget funds.
