The Accounting Chamber has begun a financial audit of the National Police of Ukraine

In accordance with the work plan, the Accounting Chamber has begun conducting a financial audit of the National Police of Ukraine.

As part of the audit, the Accounting Chamber's specialists will:

- establish the completeness and reliability of the financial and budgetary reporting of the National Police in accordance with the regulatory framework;

- analyze and assess the correctness of maintaining and completeness of accounting for business transactions;

- verify compliance with the legislation when carrying out operations with budget funds and regarding their intended use.

The auditors will focus particular attention on the challenges facing the National Police in today's conditions and the ability of the internal control system to effectively respond to risks.

Responsible for the audit – member of the Accounting Chamber Yelizaveta Pushko-Tsybulyak. Specialists of the Department of Control (Audit) in the field of law enforcement and anti-corruption activities, as well as territorial departments of the Accounting Chamber, will also be involved in the implementation of this control measure. The report on the audit results will be adopted at the meeting of the Accounting Chamber in November 2025.

The results of this audit will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the use of budget funds and the transparency of the institution's activities.
