The Accounting Chamber held testing of candidates for the positions of state auditors

The Accounting Chamber held a testing of candidates for the positions of state auditors. This is the first stage of external competitive selection for 94 vacancies of state auditors, of which 6 are management positions. In total, more than 170 candidates took part in the testing.

Participants who, according to the results of the testing, confirm their qualifications and gain the required number of points will be admitted to the next stage of selection - an interview. Based on the results of all stages of the competitive selection, a general rating of candidates will be formed and the winners will be determined.

The staff of the Accounting Chamber is replenished, in particular, as part of the implementation of measures to reform the institution, including – regarding the expansion of its powers over local budgets and the audit of state-owned enterprises.

In accordance with the updated norms of the relevant legislation, instead of civil servant positions, the positions of state auditors, who are not civil servants, have been created in the Accounting Chamber. This step corresponds to world practice and is aimed at strengthening the independence of the institution and creating appropriate working conditions for new specialists.

In the spring of 2025, the Accounting Chamber conducted internal selection for the newly created positions of state auditors among the institution's employees. And now it has started a series of external competitive selections.

By agreement with the Committee on Budget of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the maximum number of staff of the Accounting Chamber was approved: for 2025 - 702 staff units, 2026 - 839, 2027 - 989 full-time employees.
