Congratulations to Valentyn Symonenko on his 85th birthday!

July 4, 2025 marks the 85th anniversary of Valentyn Kostyantynovich Symonenko, the first Chairman of the Accounting Chamber, Hero of Ukraine.

The name of Valentyn Symonenko is inextricably linked with the history of the establishment of independent external financial control in Ukraine. It was under his leadership that the Accounting Chamber was formed as an institution that operates in accordance with the principles of openness, objectivity and serving the interests of the state and society.

Thanks to the leadership of Valentyn Kostyantynovich, the Accounting Chamber has also gained authority among the international audit community.
