The SAI of the Czech Republic provided the Accounting Chamber with 80 laptops

The Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic provided the Accounting Chamber with assistance in the form of 80 laptops and mobile power supplies for them. The decision to transfer the equipment was approved by the Czech Government on October 16, 2024, in accordance with the previously concluded donation agreement between the SAIs of Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Agreements on the provision of such support were reached during a visit by the delegation of the SAI of the Czech Republic to the Accounting Chamber in June 2024.

A few days ago, a batch of technical equipment was delivered to the territorial department of the institution in Lviv, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Ternopil regions (in Lviv),and in the future, the equipment will be distributed to the territorial departments and structural divisions of the Accounting Chamber that need it.

The transferred laptops are equipped with docking stations and power supplies for them, as well as mobile power supplies.

The Head of the Accounting Chamber, Olga Pischanska, expressed gratitude to the Head of the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic, Miloslav Kali, for the support provided:

«The 80 laptops that we received from you will become an important tool for our specialists, helping them to perform their duties more efficiently and effectively. This is especially true for on-site inspections, the importance of which has increased after the adoption of important amendments to the legislation on the Accounting Chamber. Our institutions have a long history of friendly relations and mutual support. The Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic was one of the first to extend a helping hand at the beginning of the large-scale invasion. I am extremely grateful that you continue to remain by our side in this difficult time," said Olga Pischanska.

As a reminder, the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic has been supporting the Accounting Chamber since the first days of the full-scale war, in particular, it provided temporary shelter to employees fleeing the war in the Czech Republic.

The EUROSAI Governing Board, which at that time was headed by Miloslav Kala, in March 2022 adopted a decision to suspend cooperation with the Russian Federation and Belarus. A photocopy of this decision was presented by the President of the SAI of the Czech Republic to the Accounting Chamber during his visit to Kyiv.
