    Ukrainian auditors are among the authors of the summer issue of the EUROSAI Innovations newsletter

    The summer issue of the EUROSAI Innovations newsletter (No. 11) has been published, dedicated to the topic of cooperation between supreme audit institutions.

    The issue includes materials from 16 SAIs of EUROSAI member countries, including Ukraine. Thus, representatives of the Chamber of Accounts, together with colleagues from the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Lithuania and Georgia, are the authors of two articles.

    The first publication concerns a parallel audit on forest fire prevention, which was conducted with the participation of the supreme audit institutions of Ukraine, the Republic of Lithuania and Georgia. Vulnerability to forest fires is a pressing problem for the three countries. This audit was coordinated by the EUROSAI working group on the audit of funds allocated for the prevention and elimination of the consequences of disasters, chaired by the Chamber of Accounts. The article is co-authored by the Deputy Head of the Accounting Chamber, Serhiy Klyuchka, auditors Lilia Prudivus  and  Mykhailo Garbuz.

    The second article highlights the process and results of a joint coordinated audit of housing provision for internally displaced persons, conducted by the Accounting Chamber jointly with the Federal Audit Chamber of the Federal Republic of Germany. The material was prepared by auditorsOlesya Kravchuk  andMaryna Leshchenko in cooperation with German colleagues. The article highlights practical aspects of inter-institutional interaction in the audit process, including the exchange of experience on analysis approaches, discussion of methodological issues, etc.
