Kyrylo Klymenko

Kyrylo Klymenko was born on April 18, 1982, in the city of Kyiv.

Education

2004 – graduated from the Kyiv National Economic University with Master's degree in Law.

2009 – awarded the PH.D. degree in Law, specialty Administrative Law and Procedure; Finance Law; Information Law.

2011 – completed the Management and Leadership Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

2014 – completed the Advanced Diplomacy Program at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Polish Institute of Diplomacy.

2015 – graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with Master's degree in Foreign Policy.

2018 – certified project manager by the International Project Management Association (IPMA-C).

Work Experience:

2000–2008 – a legal assistant, legal counsel, senior lawyer, head of the legal department in various commercial companies in Kyiv. Practiced law individually as an advocate.

2008–2012 – a chief specialist; Deputy Head of Unit; Head of Unit; Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative and Economic Activities and Informatization – Head of the Unit of Coordination of Economic Activities of Subordinate Organizations of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine; Deputy Director of the Administrative and Economic Department – Head of Logistics and Procurement Unit of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Secretary of the Tender Committee.

2010–2013 – Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

2012–2013 – Director of the Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

2022–2023 – National Legal Expert to the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group, the EU-funded Project Pravo-Justice.

2023 – National OECD/SIGMA Expert on assessing Ukraine’s compliance with the Principles of Public Administration for EU candidate countries.

On December 21, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Kyrylo Klymenko as the Member of the Accounting Chamber (Decree of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 3529-IX dated December 21, 2023).

The areas of activity of the Accounting Chamber are assigned to Kyrylo Klymenko.
