VI Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force
VI Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was held on May 15−16, 2014 in Warsaw, Poland.
The representatives of 11 SAIs-members of the Task Force took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the participants discussed the aspects of implementation and use of new International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs), shared experience on the issues of carrying out audits, approved the Report of the Secretariat on the Task Force's activity for 2012−2014, and approved the Good Practice Recommendations for the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes.
In addition, the draft Resolution of the IX EUROSAI Congress on transformation of the Task Force into the EUROSAI Working Group on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was approved.
Within the framework of the Task Force meeting, the first meeting of the participants of the International Coordinated Audit of Funds Allocated to Prevention and Elimination of Wildfires and the third meeting of the participants of the International Coordinated Audit of the Budget Funds Allocated to Prevention and Consequences Elimination of Disasters and Catastrophes took place.
V Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force
V Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was held on March 26−27, 2013 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
During the Meeting the topic speeches of auditors and representatives of the scientific sphere were given, the Report on the activities for 2012 of the Task Force was submitted, the third Draft Recommendations for the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was presented, and the Work Plan of the Task Force for 2012−2014 was revised. Also the meetings of participants of parallel audits initiated by the EUROSAI Task Force were held, namely:
− Audit of funds allocated to Audit of the funds allocated to prevention and disasters consequences elimination;
− Audit of Protection of the Black Sea basin against pollution;
− Audit of funds allocated to prevention and consequences elimination of wildfires.
Besides, the Seminar on experience of auditing in the field of control over the public funds expenditure allocated to prevention and consequences elimination of the catastrophes (results, criteria, sources of the audit information, and procedure of obtaining) was held on the eve of the Meeting.
IV Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force
IV Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was held on March 21−23, 2012, in Wroclaw, Republic of Poland.
Representatives from 11 European SAIs, Ministry of Regional Development of Poland, mayor's office of Wroclaw, Institute of Meteorology and Water Management of Poland took part in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting shared information and experiences on such issues as conducting audits of funds allocated to disasters and catastrophes, elucidated access criteria of efficiency of using budget funds during conducting audit, learn with Poland's experience in the sphere of flood prevention. Accounting Chamber of Ukraine as Head of EUROSAI Task Force presented progress report between III and IV meetings.
Also the second draft of Good Practice Recommendations for the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was presented. Participants approved new Work plan of EUROSAI Task Force for 2012−2014. 8 SAIs signed Common Position for Coordinated Parallel Audit (Control) of Public Funds Allocated to Prevention and Consequences Elimination of Disasters and Catastrophes.
ІІІ Meeting of EUROSAI Task Force
ІIІ Meeting of EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was held on March 22−23, 2011, Moscow, Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of 10 SAIs, Council of the Federation Commission for Interaction with the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Council of the Federation Committee on Defense and Security as well as interested Ministries of Emergencies of Ukraine and Russian Federation.
The participants of the meeting shared information and experiences on such issues as early warning and natural disaster response and also the cost-increasing factors when preventing and eliminating the consequences of man-caused disasters in industrial sector.
The meeting was organized according to the two plenary sessions dedicated to problems of rapid response on disasters and catastrophes in Europe and current projects and activities of EUROSAI Task Force. The Accounting Chamber of Ukraine as the Chairman of EUROSAI Task Force presented progress report and proposed to prolong the mandate of the TF during VIII Congress of EUROSAI on June, Lisbon, Portugal. In addition the first draft of Recommendations of Good Practices on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes, Common Position on Cooperation for The Coordinated Parallel Audit of State Funds Allocated to Prevention and Consequences Elimination of Disasters and Catastrophes were submitted for consideration.

ІІ Meeting of EUROSAI Task Force
ІІ Meeting of EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was held on June 24−25, 2010, Kyiv, Ukraine.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of 10 SAIs, United Nations Development Program, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as well as interested Ukrainian ministries and government authorities.
The participants of the meeting shared information and experiences on such issues as early warning and natural disaster response and also the cost-increasing factors when preventing and eliminating the consequences of man-caused disasters in industrial sector.
The Accounting Chamber of Ukraine as the Task Force Chair presented for the consideration of the Task Force members and other meeting participants its prior proposals as to the methodological recommendations for the SAIs regarding auditing disaster-related issues based on best audit practice, draft glossary of terms on auditing the funds allocated to disasters and catastrophes, draft database of the disaster-related audits in Europe and updated web-site of the Task Force, as well as the cooperative audits planned within the Task Force activities for 2010−2011.

I meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force
On March 17−18, 2009 the Supreme Audit Institution of Ukraine hosted in Kyiv I Meeting of the EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes.
The meeting was attended by 11 European SAIs as well as by the state authorities, leading scientific and research institutions of Ukraine and international organizations.
The meeting was organized according to the three plenary sessions dedicated to disasters and catastrophes in Europe, role of national governments and international organizations, as well as activities of Supreme Audit Institutions in the field of prevention and consequences elimination of such negative phenomena. The participants approved the Terms of Reference and the Work Plan for 2009−2011.
