We, participants of Meeting of Ad Hoc Task Force on the Audit of Natural, Man-caused Disasters Consequences and Radioactive Wastes Elimination representing:

8. Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation
9. The Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic
10. Swiss Federal Audit Office
11. Accounting Chamber of Ukraine
after getting acquainted with the results of the questionnaire distributed by the SAI of Ukraine concerning Subgroup's tasks and after discussing the draft TERMS OF REFERENCE prepared by the Ukrainian part agreed on the following:
1. We support an initiative submitted by the SAI of Ukraine to establish a permanent Subgroup on the Audit of Natural, Man-caused Disasters Consequences and Radioactive Wastes Elimination within the structures of the EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) under the leadership of Mr. Valentyn Symonenko, Head of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.
2. Chairman of the EUROSAI WGEA, President of the Supreme Chamber of Control of Poland Mr. Mirosław Sekuła will inform the EUROSAI Governing Board about the initiative of the SAI of Ukraine to establish the above mentioned Subgroup within the structures of the EUROSAI WGEA.
3. On the EUROSAI WGEA members meeting in October 2006 the Supreme Chamber of Control of Poland as the Working Group's Co-ordinator will submit a formal proposal to establish a permanent Subgroup on the Audit of Natural, Man-caused Disasters Consequences and Radioactive Wastes Elimination.
4. The draft TERMS OF REFERENCE discussed in Kiev will serve as a basis for formulating the proposal mentioned in point 3.
5. Until the permanent Subgroup is established, the Subgroup will work as a task force group to audit the use of funds (including those from foreign sources) allocated for elimination of the effects of Chernobyl disaster. Participants of the meeting will take part as experts in all stages of the above mentioned audit (i.e. planning, examination and reporting) within their competence. The audit will be co-ordinated by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.
