The Accounting Chamber has renovated the learning and conference space of its institutional library, which is used for training sessions, discussions, internal working sessions, and other professional activities aimed at institutional development.

The modernization of this facility is part of the Accounting Chamber’s systematic cooperation with international partners, aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and developing a professional culture of public audit. The renovation was carried out with the support of the Project “Extension of the Public Finance Management Support Program in Ukraine (EU4PFM)”.

Inguna Sudraba, Team Leader of Component 5 of the EU4PFM Project, noted that the renovated space will facilitate not only audit training but also the broader professional development of the Accounting Chamber’s specialists. It creates a practical environment for developing auditors’ professional competencies, discussing methodological issues, exchanging experiences between teams, and fostering a culture of professional dialogue in accordance with ISSAI international standards.

As part of the partnership, the space has been equipped with modern furniture and equipment for presentations and online learning: 30 ergonomic office chairs, 30 adjustable desks, and an interactive IT panel for collaboration and learning.

Creating a modern professional learning environment, competency development, and internal expert collaboration is one of the key elements of implementing the Accounting Chamber’s Development Strategy for 2025–2029.  Its main areas of focus are strengthening institutional capacity, developing the professional competencies of state auditors, and implementing modern approaches to public external financial control.
