The edition includes contributions from 16 SAIs of EUROSAI member countries, including Ukraine. Representatives of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, in cooperation with colleagues from the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Lithuania, and Georgia, are the authors of two articles.
The first publication concerns the results of a parallel audit on forest fire prevention, conducted by the SAIs of Ukraine, the Republic of Lithuania, and Georgia. Vulnerability to forest fires is a pressing issue for all three countries. This audit was coordinated by the EUROSAI Working Group on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes, chaired by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine. Co-authors of this publication are Serhii Kliuchka, Deputy Chairman of the Accounting Chamber, and auditors Liliia Prudyvus and Mykhailo Harbuz.
The second article highlights the process and results of a joint coordinated audit on housing provision for internally displaced persons, conducted by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine in cooperation with the Federal Audit Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. The material was prepared by auditors Olesia Kravchuk and Maryna Leshchenko in cooperation with German colleagues. The article highlights practical aspects of inter-institutional cooperation, including the exchange of experience in approaches to data analysis, audit methodology, and other coordination matters.
