"Today, the world is increasingly faced with disasters of various nature. But the biggest catastrophe not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire civilized world is the war that russia has unleashed. This is a threat to all humanity! What is the value of nuclear blackmail by russia! I will discuss all this with my colleagues from the European supreme audit institutions," the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber wrote that on his Facebook page.
In their speeches, Miloslav Kala, the President of EUROSAI, the President of the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic, José Tavares, the President of the Portuguese Court Of Auditors and Enriqueta Havega, the Secretary General of EUROSAI, condemned russia's aggression and assured Ukrainians of their support.
Valeriy Patskan expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their support. "I am convinced that we should be united and join forces against the terrorist country, or the consequences can be irreparable! I use all international platforms so that the world does not forget about the war in Ukraine and helps stop and punish russia," he added.
For reference. EUROSAI is the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions, which membership stands at 51 SAIs (the SAIs of 50 European States and the European Court of Auditors). The governing bodies of EUROSAI are the Congress, the Governing Board and the Secretariat.
