The Accounting Chamber will conduct a financial audit of USD 1.08 billion in grant funds from the World Bank. The Accounting Chamber made the respective decision at the scheduled meeting of the institution chaired by the Acting Chairman of the Accounting Chamber, Andrii Maisner.
"Given the intensification of international cooperation by the Accounting Chamber, implementation of the international standards of the SAI (ISSAI), as well as in the framework of state cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank, the Accounting Chamber decided to conduct an unscheduled financial audit of the Grant of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for the co-financing the Second Economic Recovery Development Policy Loan Program for Ukraine this year. We will start this important and urgent state external financial control (audit) soon," said Andrii Maisner.
Moreover, the meeting approved the Report on the results of the performance audit of the use of the State Budget funds for allocated to the development of special communication, providing information protection and countering technical intelligence (secret report). Ihor Iaremchuk, a member of the Accounting Chamber, is responsible for conducting the audit. Also the meeting approved the Report on the results of the performance audit of the use of the State Budget funds by the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine. The person responsible for conducting the audit is a member of the Accounting Chamber, Tsezar Ohon.
The management of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine attended the meeting of the Accounting Chamber.
The reports will soon be sent up to the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Ministry of Finance and published on the website of the Accounting Chamber.
